GMC Motorhome Owner: We build Stage I 455 Engines that are above a standard rebuild in components and assembly. We also build a limited number of blueprint Stage II Olds 455 and 403 Engines. These engines provide excellent power, economy and durability. All engines are test run prior to install or shipping, with test specs provided. We have pro-built H.D. transmissions including the scarce switchpitch units. We carry a heavy duty 13 inch torque converter that is rebuilt to our specs; using the best components and processes available (not an Allison). Springfield Ignition builds High Performance H.E.I. and 1973-74 points conversion, Ignitions for all GMC motorhome applications. We also have Hi-performance, custom fit, heat shielded, 8mm silicone spark plug wire sets that are warranted for life and rebuilt carburetors for 455 and 403 engines.
